

AWS Engineer (Okta Support)
Job Title: AWS Engineer

AWS Engineering and Okta Support (Required)
• The Contractor shall serve as the primary point of contact for all AWS administrative tasks and support requests. The Contractor shall manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of a AWS environment, including migrating solutions from the HQ Data Center to AWS, setting up new AWS FedRAMP Authorized services when needed, and coordinating with other Cloud Service Providers and the Operations Team.
• The Contractor shall also manage the setup, migration, and administration of the AWS network connections, including Direct Connect and other connections that terminate in AWS, and support network engineer in AWS-related networking.
• Duties also include AWS account management through IAM and Okta, providing billing and usage details to the COR, responding to ServiceNow support requests, and ensuring the environment is in compliance with FISMA and other cybersecurity requirements.
Okta Support (Required)
• The Contractor shall serve as the primary point of contact for all Okta administrative tasks and support requests.
• The Contractor shall manage the design, implementation, administration, and maintenance of an Okta environment, including migrating the instance of Okta to a government-provided Okta solution and coordinating with other Cloud Service Providers and the Operations Team.
• Duties also include account management and setup and responding to ServiceNow support requests.
Qualifications
• For AWS Engineering and Architecture Support:
• The Contractor shall only assign employees that possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Architecture role.
• We prefer the Contractor minimum, has an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification at the time of contract award.
• Employees shall have experience working with systems in a federal-owned data center and demonstrate an understanding through past performance of government IT mandates, regulations, and best practices.
• Employees should also have experience as an AWS architect or administrator, strong on-premises IT experience and understanding of mapping on-premises to cloud, and experience working with other Cloud Service Providers (e.g., M365, ServiceNow, Okta).
