About The Role

Join a dynamic technology-driven company as an AWS Data Engineer. In this exciting role, you will utilize cutting-edge Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools and services to deliver impactful data-driven solutions, ensuring measurable improvements to business processes. Working fully remotely, you will engage in cross-functional collaboration, help develop machine learning models, build end-to-end data pipelines, and optimize cloud costs.

Responsibilities

   • Analyze and explore data using AWS tools like Amazon Redshift, Athena, and Quicksight, delivering actionable insights.

   • Develop and deploy machine learning models with AWS SageMaker for predictive analytics.

   • Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipelines using AWS Glue.

   • Implement real-time data processing solutions leveraging AWS Kinesis, Lambda, and related tools.

   • Optimize and streamline big data technologies including AWS EMR, Apache Spark, and Hadoop.

   • Create interactive dashboards using Amazon QuickSight to communicate insights effectively.

   • Ensure data quality by validating, cleansing, and governing data workflows.

Requirements

   • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

   • 4+ years of experience with AWS tools and services like Redshift, Athena, Glue, SageMaker, Kinesis, Lambda, EMR, and QuickSight.

   • Proficiency in Python, R, or Java for data manipulation, modeling, and component deployment (Terraform experience required).

   • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts along with SQL expertise.

   • Experience leveraging machine learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) integrated with AWS tools.
