Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (Backstage)

​

Job Location: Las Vegas NV (Day one onsite)

​

Duration : 6+ Months

​

Skills to focus

   • Backstage Skills – unified portal for infrastructure tooling and services to primarily assist developers, collaborate with other cloud engineers to containerize microservices applications and provision infrastructure via the new portal.

​

   • Backstage Skill – unified portal for infrastructure tooling and services to primarily assist developers, collaborate with other cloud engineers to containerize microservices applications and provision infrastructure via the new portal.

​

A brief Job Description is provided below:

   • Manage environment lifecycle with Terraform.

   • Efficiently use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

   • Create and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment and database changes using Terraform templates

   • Infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as a Code Terraform Application monitoring and logging – ELK and Log Insights.

   • Experience with Ansible playbooks is required

   • Securely handle sensitive data in Terraform code.

   • AWS – Complete IAAS, RDS, ECS, IAM, Fargate

   • AWS EKS – Kubernetes, Docker, Karpenter

   • Terraform – Infrastructure as Code, Terraform Cloud, Enterprise.

   • Networking - VPC, Gateways, Subnets, Routing etc.,

   • Developer Self-Service Portal - Backstage and Harmonix

   • GitLab

   • NodeJS, NPM

   • React, Yarn

   • YAML Templates

   • Great understanding on Infrastructure
