Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS Connect to design, deploy, and maintain our cloud-based contact center solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of AWS services, security best practices, and infrastructure automation. Experience in healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, HITRUST) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS Connect infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Optimize AWS services for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align AWS solutions with business objectives.
• Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network security.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud environments and infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in AWS cloud engineering with a focus on AWS Connect.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, and DynamoDB.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, etc.).
• Familiarity with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in a healthcare environment with knowledge of HIPAA and HITRUST compliance (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience integrating AWS Connect with third-party applications and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of VoIP technologies and contact center operations.
