Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Atlassian Developer with strong experience in Groovy and Java to join our remote team. This role focuses on the custom development and automation of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Tempo) and requires excellent scripting, communication, and documentation skills. You will play a key role in delivering scalable internal tools and process improvements for a fast-paced technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

   • Design, develop, document, and implement custom technology solutions across Atlassian tools.

   • Create advanced automations and scripts using Groovy, ScriptRunner, and Java.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system flows, data usage, and process improvements.

   • Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, especially within Jira and Confluence.

   • Support existing Atlassian customizations and implement enhancements.

   • Resolve technical issues and provide operational improvements through analysis and structured problem-solving.

   • Ensure adherence to enterprise policies including SDLC, data security, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

   • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.

   • Strong development experience with Groovy and Java.

   • Hands-on experience customizing Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Tempo using ScriptRunner or similar tools.

   • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and relational databases.

   • Excellent verbal and written communication and documentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

   • Linux shell scripting experience

   • Exposure to Tricentis Tosca and test automation platforms

   • Experience working with ServiceNow

   • Familiarity with Comala, PDF Exporter, or other Jira plugins

   • Working knowledge of REST APIs
