Who we are looking for: Are you an analytics leader who’s passionate about creating meaningful, persuasive stories from channel performance and site data? Do you believe in using data to strengthen client strategies, creative ideas and media ecosystems? GS&F is looking for an Analytics Director to lead our reporting and analysis discipline. This role would be tasked with keeping our agency ahead of the game with innovative tools and a unique perspective on measurement, testing, reporting and data storytelling. This role will work closely with the Account Management, Strategy, UX, Development, Creative and Media teams to connect ideas with impact and bring new, data-backed insight to the creative process. You’ll likely need the following qualifications and experience to be successful in this role: Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience as a media analyst, marketing analyst, or similar position Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics or Marketing is preferred. Previous team management experience is preferred. Excellent communication and presentation skills with extensive client-facing experience A hunger for growing the analytics and data science capability within the agency Knowledge of multichannel media campaigns, measurement and optimization strategies Advanced experience working in Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics Implementation experience with Google Tag Manager, building and scaling tracking tags, creation of legally compliant consent modules Very strong analytical skills, identifying success metrics through outcome modeling Advanced experience in ETL software: enriching, cleaning, and harmonizing campaign data with custom scripting Depth of experience in Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc. Key Responsibilities: Oversee analytical strategies, methodologies and deliverables across the client roster. Partner with internal stakeholders to provide thought leadership and guidance in the evolution of data analytics for the agency Bring an audience-first approach to analytics, with the ability to communicate insights to creative to ensure campaigns resonate. Manage, mentor and lead a growing team of Analysts. Develop analytics plans, structures and processes to translate media and site performance into actionable insights and dashboards. Present performance reports to key clients and provide meaningful insights and recommendations. Synthesize campaign data across Web, Mobile, Search, Paid Social, Display, Email, Streaming and emerging platforms. Deliver relevant conclusions, recommendations and insights to internal teams. Be the subject matter expert for analytical tools, methodologies and emerging technology. Help the agency grow its capabilities in analytics, AI and custom visualization tools. Participate in the agency’s new business initiatives as needed Collaborate with the media team to predict performance, set benchmarks and build reporting structures for campaigns. Manage the analytics team’s scopes, contracts and resources to ensure profitability. Location: We are only considering candidates that currently live in or wish to relocate to Nashville in the near future (first 90 days of employment).
