RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in need of an Algorithm Engineer for a remote role, with eventual relocation to Utah Valley, UT potentially required. This is a contract-to-hire (CTH), remote work possible.

Key Responsibilities:
• Algorithm Engineer will design and implement algorithms for radar signal processing
• Address radar concerns such as detecting targets/intruders masked by ground clutter
• Potential for algorithm implementation

REQUIREMENTS:
• 5-10 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++ (prototyping in Python)
• Experience with Space-Time Adaptive Processing (STAP) preferred for removing ground clutter; Others below can work, in lieu of:
• MTI
• BeamForming
• CFAR - Constant false alarm rate
• MIMO - Multiple-Input Multiple-Output
• MUSIC - MUltiple SIgnal Classification
• Cuda is a big plus, OpenCL (opensource variant)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
