IDR is excited to announce an opportunity for an ambitious and experienced AI Engineer to join our esteemed client's team in Atlanta, GA.
Position Overview & Responsibilities for the AI Engineer:
• Design, test, and enhance machine learning models for tasks like classification, regression, clustering, or recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Data Management Team to gather, clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to create effective training sets.
• Apply machine learning algorithms and neural networks using tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Deploy machine learning models into production using APIs, containers (e.g., Docker), or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Track model performance, detect changes, and implement updates or retraining plans to maintain model accuracy.
• Partner with data management, applications, enterprise architects, and product managers to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Required Skills for the AI Engineer:
• Extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and API development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or related languages.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, and big data tools such as Spark or Hadoop.
• Experience deploying machine learning models using cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in model evaluation using metrics like precision, recall, F1-score, AUC-ROC, and confusion matrices.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in design sessions and work well within teams to gather and manage data sources.
