Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking an Ab Initio Developer to join their team. As an Ab Initio Developer, you will be part of the Data Engineering team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Ab Initio Developer
Location: Wilmington, DE
What's the Job?
• Develop and maintain Ab Initio batch processes to ensure efficient data processing.
• Work with messaging systems like KAFKA or IBM MQ to integrate data flows.
• Convert database objects to JSON for improved data handling.
• Optimize performance tuning for batch processes to enhance system efficiency.
• Create asynchronous micro batches for nonlinear batch processing.
What's Needed?
• Expertise with Ab Initio Co>Op System, GDE, and Unix systems.
• Proficient with Oracle and familiar with Autosys.
• Experience dealing with large volumes of data for batch processes.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques for batch processes.
• Familiarity with Mainframe systems is a plus.
