Your new company
Your new company is a global reinsurance group that specialises in acquiring and managing discontinued insurance portfolios. The firm focusses on providing reinsurance solutions in the property and casualty insurance sector.
Your new role
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the company realises value from the underwriting of policies by assessing profit commissions, analysing policy terms and data and supporting credit control activities. You will have the opportunity to participate in project activities and provide support to the wider team.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience within an underwriting/underwriting support function and a demonstrable understanding of Lloyds market practices and key systems. You will need to be able to understand and interpret policies, analyse large sets of data and also have had some experience in collecting premiums owed. The role requires tenacity and perseverance to ensure that actions are completed and a variety of approaches are considered in problem-solving. Effective communication and presentation skills are a must, and experience and knowledge of the legacy insurance sector are desirable.
What you'll get in return
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract paying up to £55k. The role also includes discretionary bonus and benefits.
