Job Description:
The TIBCO Developer will review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs for new or existing systems. They will deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to technical standards. The role involves providing accurate and timely completion of technical development and support tasks, maintaining a strong focus on customer service, and adhering to industry and company best practices. The TIBCO Developer reports to the Manager of Software Development and may assist in mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software tasks in alignment with established standards and methodologies.
• Address and resolve Help Desk tickets related to development issues.
• Generate reports upon request using various reporting tools.
• Ensure timely resolution of technical problems and escalate severe issues.
• Monitor and report on security violations concerning unauthorized access to corporate data.
• Maintain a collaborative and positive workplace atmosphere.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment and recommend cost-efficient solutions.
• Create, update, and maintain disaster recovery procedures following hardware or application changes.
• Adhere to change management policies and procedures.
• Complete assigned activities, tasks, and projects punctually.
• Provide technical mentoring to junior developers.
• Rapidly learn and adapt to new software development technologies and environments.
• Collaborate with end users and other technical staff to define project criteria and ensure robust testing of solutions.
• Assist in designing and developing database schemas.
• Lead the development of small applications with minimal supervision.
TIBCO-Specific Responsibilities:
• Design and develop TIBCO-based interfaces.
• Integrate business systems with external vendor applications using TIBCO Master File Transfer and Business Connect.
• Automate TIBCO build and deployment processes using Bamboo.
• Conduct unit testing and automate regression testing using tools such as SOAP UI and HP Functional Test Suite.
• Develop reusable frameworks for auditing, logging, and exception handling.
• Automate infrastructure and business process monitoring using TIBCO Hawk, Splunk, and AppDynamics.
Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 5+ years of software development experience.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in TIBCO development and architecture using TIBCO BusinessWorks (version 5.15 or higher).
• Expertise in TIBCO EMS/JMS, including creating queues, topics, and configuring EMS options.
• Proficiency in TIBCO BW Plugins for REST, JSON, and HL7.
• Experience developing B2B applications using TIBCO Business Connect.
• Familiarity with EHR products such as Allscripts TouchWorks.
• Advanced knowledge of XML-related technologies, including XML, XSD schemas, XSLT, and XPath.
• Experience working with protocols such as JMS, REST, SOAP, and EDI (835, 837).
• Proficiency in designing and developing Java/JEE applications with Spring framework.
