Brooksource is seeking a skilled Tableau Consultant to join our Fortune 100 Travel & Hospitality partner’s organization to help transform data into actionable insights. In this role, you would be a key member of our partner’s Owners and Insights Team, responsible for improving the timeliness, quality, and accuracy deliverables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance existing platforms and support the forward-looking adoption of automation.
As a Tableau Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support our partner’s business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that enhance decision-making processes. Your expertise in SQL, ETL tools, and API integrations will be crucial in ensuring seamless data flow and integration across various systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Perform data analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Manage and optimize data sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
• Implement ETL processes using tools like Alteryx (preferred) or other ETL tools.
• Integrate Tableau with various data sources and APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
• Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their Tableau skills.
• Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Tableau Consultant or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.
• Experience in building complex Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with database management.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx (preferred) or other ETL tools.
• Familiarity with API integrations and data blending.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Nice to have: Experience with Salesforce and integrating Salesforce data with Tableau.
