Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SSIS Developer with extensive experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and a strong background in ETL processes. This position will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL solutions to support the client’s data integration needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement SSIS packages for ETL processes.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various data sources to SQL Server databases.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize existing SSIS packages to enhance performance and reliability.
• Conduct data validation and quality assurance to ensure data integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SSIS package issues and data discrepancies.
• Support and maintain existing data integration processes and workflows.
• Provide documentation for developed processes and ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 9 years in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and strong T-SQL scripting skills.
• Expertise in data warehousing concepts, database design, and relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes.
• Familiarity with debugging and troubleshooting SSIS packages and data issues.
• Knowledge of data modeling tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with other ETL tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services such as Azure or AWS.
• Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI or SSRS.
Work Arrangement:
• Hybrid schedule: Work will require onsite presence in Houston, TX, combined with remote flexibility.
