About the Role
We are seeking an innovative and experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Artificial Intelligence, this role is based in our Atlanta office with a hybrid work arrangement. You will lead the development and deployment of state-of-the-art generative AI models, driving innovation while providing technical leadership to a team of data scientists. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and researchers, will be critical to identify opportunities, design cutting-edge solutions, and deliver impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities

Model Development & Deployment:
Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models, focusing on text generation and semantic entity extraction.
Integrate AI models into production environments, ensuring quality and performance standards are met.
Collaboration & Leadership:
Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and establish data-driven solutions.
Mentor junior data scientists and interns, providing guidance on best practices and industry standards.
Research & Innovation:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Generative AI, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), fine-tuning LLMs, prompt tuning, graph RAGs, and knowledge graphs.
Innovate by leveraging emerging AI technologies to solve complex business problems.
Documentation & Communication:
Establish and maintain comprehensive documentation for models, algorithms, and processes.
Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (required).
Ph.D. in a related field (preferred).
Experience:
3–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with hands-on expertise in deploying Generative AI solutions.
Proficient in building large-scale data pipelines and processing systems.
Demonstrated experience with server-side frameworks like FastAPI, API development, and versioning.
Technical Skills:
Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and probabilistic modeling.
Expertise in modern data science tools and frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, Scikit-learn, Keras).
Advanced programming skills in Python and experience with version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proven ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues and interns
