Sr. Cloud Engineer- Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Location : Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Project Duration : 12+ Months (C2H)
Job Description:
Experience
Minimum 9+ years in software development and cloud platform engineering.
Technical Expertise
Strong expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm.
Advanced programming skills in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Reactive).
Hands-on with Azure (preferred), GCP, or AWS.
Deep knowledge of Linux systems and scripting.
Experience in cloud cost optimization and scaling.
DevSecOps and SDLC
Expertise in implementing DevSecOps practices.
Advanced experience with CI/CD pipelines, IAM, and security standards.
Proven track record of secure, scalable software delivery.
Leadership
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud platforms.
Mentor and guide team members.
Drive cloud architecture decisions and strategy.
Collaboration
Partner with cross-functional teams to define complex cloud strategies.
Communicate technical ideas to stakeholders effectively.
Preferred Certifications
Azure, AWS, or GCP certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer).
Soft Skills
Strong decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Key Deliverables
Architect, develop, and optimize large-scale cloud platforms.
Define and enforce best practices for cloud automation, security, and scalability.
Ensure cloud cost optimization and efficiency.
Deliverables:
• Process Flows
• Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
• Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
• Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
• Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
• Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
• Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
• Participate as a team member of the functional team
• Perform other duties as assigned.
