Job Description: One of our top insurance clients is looking to add an AWS Database Administrator to their team. This individual will be designing, developing, implementing, and configuring cloud databases and using AWS data services to build applications. They will also be working on data ingestion pipelines, building AWS-based data lakes, aiding in cloud development, and collaborating with teams to maintain optimal cloud application software that is delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working as a cloud DBA with hands on experience with AWES data analytics and data management tools. They must have extensive experience with data migrations from on-prem to AWS cloud, AWS cloud-native infrastructure, and working with programming languages/code software. This role will be onsite in West Trenton 3 days/week, and remote 2 days/week.

Required Skills and Experience:
• 7+ years of experience as a DBA with 5+ years of experience specifically working as a cloud DBA
• Extensive experience with AWS data analytics tools such as: RedShift, Athena, Glue, RDS, Step Functions and SQL Server
• Extensive experience with AWS data management tools such as: AWS Lake Formation, Amazon S3, DMS, MSK, and Apache Kafka
• Experience with data migrations from on-prem to AWS cloud and experience with AWS cloud-native infrastructure
• Experience with database design, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
• Experience with a programming language such as PowerShell or Python
• Experience with code software like Git, GitHub, or TFS
• Certification in one of the following: AWS Data Engineer Any AWS certification

Compensation: $60/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
