Position: Sr. Data Engineer

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in U.S. time zones)

Duration: 6-month Contract

Hourly Pay: $65-80, W2

Experience:
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, focusing on building and managing data pipelines and models

Technical Skills:
• Expert-level Snowflake skills, including data modeling, performance optimization, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Talend, creating and managing complex ETL/ELT workflows.
• Familiarity with dbt (Data Build Tool) or Coalesce for data transformation.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services, especially Azure Blob Storage.
• Strong understanding of data architecture best practices for scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development:
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support analytical and operational use cases.
• Leverage Talend to create and manage efficient data workflows, ensuring seamless data integration.

Data Modeling and Transformation:
• Structure and model data in Snowflake to support analytical queries and reporting.
• Utilize modern tools like dbt or Coalesce to create maintainable and scalable data transformations.

Documentation and Troubleshooting:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes and workflows.
• Establish automated data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Cloud Architecture:
• Work with Azure cloud infrastructure to manage data storage and ensure security compliance.
• Partner with IT teams to align data solutions with enterprise governance standards.
