We are seeking an experienced Senior Insight Analyst with Power BI expertise and a background in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to join a local authority team. The role involves delivering data analysis and reporting to support evidence-based decision making and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Power BI to build and maintain dashboards, specifically focusing on SEND data.

• Collaboration: Work with teams across the Council to provide insights that inform decisions and policy.

• Data Quality & Governance: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports.

• Stakeholder Support: Provide expert data advice to senior leaders and partners.

Essential Skills:

• Power BI: Proven experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports.

• SEND Experience: Knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

• Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills, particularly in quantitative and qualitative data.

• Coding Skills: Familiarity with SQL, Python, or R.

• Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent experience) in a research or data analysis discipline.

• Public Sector Knowledge: Understanding of local authority decision-making.
