Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Senior Data Engineer to join their team. Summary: This team builds all the models and houses the data for all the third-party providers (think Instagram, Google, Pinterest, etc.). They are heavily focused on python, airflow, SQL and GCP. They do not need any ETL type candidates but more strong coders who are experts in python/SQL. This person needs to be an expert in core data concepts and have the ability to understand what the data is telling them and have business acumen on value drivers. They also do some visualizations using Tableau. Additionally, they use tools like airflow, data forms, BigQuery etc.

Requirements
• 5+ years of data engineering experience (SQL, python, GCP, Tableau, Data forms, airflow, etc.)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and strong business acumen
• Experience with BigQuery preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
