Position Overview: The SAS Reporting Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions using SAS software. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and IT to understand reporting requirements and provide data-driven insights that support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with data manipulation, and a background in SAS tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAS-based reports and dashboards to meet business needs.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Data Extraction: Utilize SAS to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources such as SQL databases, flat files, and other data warehouses.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate those into technical solutions.
• Automating Reports: Implement automated reporting solutions using SAS scripting to ensure efficiency and reduce manual workload.
• Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reports through detailed validation processes.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for reporting processes, methodologies, and procedures.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize SAS queries and processes for improved performance and faster report generation.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all reporting processes adhere to organizational data governance and compliance standards.
