Quality Assurance Lead

Arka Innovate is seeking a skilled and experienced Test Center of Excellence (TCOE) Lead to join our dynamic team in King of Prussia, PA. This long-term contract role requires an individual who excels in overseeing testing processes, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and managing both manual and automated testing efforts across various projects. The ideal candidate will drive quality assurance strategies, lead testing teams, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver superior software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Leadership: Lead the TCOE to define, implement, and continuously improve best practices and processes for software testing
• Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of testers, fostering their growth and ensuring effective test execution and defect management
• Agile Collaboration: Drive Agile testing processes within Scrum or Kanban environments, ensuring effective collaboration between development and testing teams
• Test Execution: Plan, design, and execute both manual and automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing
• Automation Expertise: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and Java
• API Testing: Perform API testing to validate functionality, security, and performance using tools like Postman or REST-assured
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to evaluate scalability, stability, and speed of applications
• Defect Tracking: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test cases, document results, and track defects using Jira
• Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing practices
• Quality Assurance: Ensure alignment of testing activities with Agile development cycles, prioritizing the delivery of high-quality software

Required Skills & Qualification
• Agile Methodologies: Strong experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban, and expertise in Agile testing processe
• Automation Testing: Proficiency in Selenium and Java for automated testin
• Manual Testing: Comprehensive experience in manual testing for functional and non-functional requirement
• API Testing: Hands-on experience with tools like Postman or REST-assure
• Performance Testing: Solid understanding of performance testing tools and technique
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and mentor teams within a TCOE framewor
• Tools Expertise: Strong experience with Jira for defect tracking and test case managemen
• Test Planning: Demonstrated capability in test planning, execution, and reporting with a focus on continuous improvemen
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with teams and stakeholders.
