Robert Half is seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer with expertise in automation tools and frameworks to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Test Rigor or Playwright for test automation, along with a strong foundation in programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and optimizing automated test suites to ensure the reliability and scalability of our client's software.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts using tools like Test Rigor or Playwright.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to design and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C# to automate testing for both web and mobile applications.
• Implement automated regression, functional, and performance tests to ensure product quality.
• Identify, report, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rigor).
• Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks to keep pace with product changes and release cycles.
• Troubleshoot and debug automated tests and resolve issues in test environments.
• Perform root cause analysis on test failures and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Work with the development team to understand application requirements and translate them into effective automated tests.
• Contribute to test documentation and test case creation for manual and automated testing efforts.

Required Skills And Experience
• Strong experience in QA Automation testing, including designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with Test Rigor or Playwright for test automation, including framework setup, writing test cases, and executing tests.
• Proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript for writing and maintaining automation scripts.
• Experience with C# and its integration in automation testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospective meetings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
