My client is looking for a python developer to deliver a standalone user application to read csv files and generate files with different Industry formats (dlfows, cflows, json flows) and connect to DIP and DIP Adaptor, and maybe ftp to our servers, to send them out. Application needs to be able to work with bulk data/files and user friendly. Also deal with high volumes with good performance (50K files).

Main functionality already developed for DIP files, now being refactored to deal with DTN and CSS files. GUI has been developed tkinter. However we are looking to migrate it to a web based GUI by using Django to get advantage of all the libraries in the framework.

Very good skills about parsing, recursively and multi-thread programming. Focused on choosing the most performing design and application configuration options. Kowledge of design patterns like Factory, singleton, etc.

The client is building a tool to support MHHS functional and non-functional testing so we will need this person to support testers and fix bugs.

The role involves up to 1 day per week onsite in Glasgow
