A leading commodity trading company is seeking an experienced PowerApps Developer to join their dynamic technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and integrating solutions with Power BI.

The role involves developing PowerApps applications and ensuring seamless integration with Power BI for data reporting and visualisation, with a particular focus on the energy trading sector.

Although this is primarily a PowerApps Developer position, it requires you to integrate your apps with Power BI, allowing business stakeholders to access critical insights from data. You will also be working with various data sources like Dataverse, SharePoint, and Azure SQL.

What you’ll do:
• Design and develop PowerApps applications, integrating them with Power BI for effective data reporting and visualisation.
• Connect to and manage data from various sources such as Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL, ensuring a secure and efficient data flow.
• Document all architectural designs and workflows for clarity and future reference.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to refine solution designs and ensure they align with strategic business goals.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.
• Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the performance, scalability, and robustness of the applications.
• Manage the deployment of applications across development and production environments.
• Participate in agile processes, including scrum meetings, sprint planning, and progress updates.
• Keep stakeholders informed with regular updates and feedback, aligning solutions with business priorities.
• Stay up to date with the latest best practices and advancements in the Power Platform, especially around PowerApps and Power BI.

Skills and Experience:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience working with Microsoft PowerApps and integrating with Power BI.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL for effective data integration.
• A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to work in an agile environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Microsoft Power Platform and Azure certifications.
