We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PMO Analyst to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. As a PMO Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects by ensuring that project management practices and processes are followed consistently across the organization. You will assist in tracking project performance, provide data-driven insights, and support the coordination of various project management activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Monitoring & Reporting:
• Assist in monitoring project status, track progress, and generate regular project reports for senior management, stakeholders, and PMO leadership. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Process Improvement & Standardization:
• Support the implementation and maintenance of project management standards, methodologies, and processes. Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance efficiency across the PMO.
• Data Collection & Analysis:
• Collect, analyze, and report on key project metrics such as resource allocation, timelines, risks, and budgets. Provide insights to project managers and stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
• Risk & Issue Management:
• Assist with the identification, tracking, and resolution of project risks and issues. Support the creation of risk mitigation plans and escalate critical risks to management as appropriate.
• Project Documentation:
• Ensure that project documentation, including project charters, plans, status reports, and change requests, are accurately maintained and archived.
• Project Coordination & Support:
• Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and organizing project deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Assist in managing communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership. Ensure that all relevant parties are kept informed of project progress, issues, and changes.
• PMO Tools & Systems Management:
• Assist in maintaining and improving PMO tools and software used for project tracking and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, etc.). Ensure that all project data is up-to-date and accurately recorded.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, PMO support, or a related role.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certification(s) is a plus but not required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Agile or Scrum project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with financial tracking and budgeting for projects.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
