People Reporting Analyst - 9 Month FTC

This is a great opportunity to join the team on a fixed term contract to support with enhancing easyJet’s people reporting needs and requirements, now and into the future. Given how quickly internal and external factors change, this role is ever evolving and has high potential to become a permanent requirement.
You will join a small fast-paced and dynamic team, responding to people reporting requests from stakeholders in the People function and the wider business. Working alongside one other People Reporting Analyst and reporting into the People Reporting Manager, you will deliver reliable reporting using our HR and data systems, supporting the needs and requirements of our stakeholders across the business and continuously seeking new and more efficient reporting processes to enable self-service. You will be responsible for end to end delivery, ensuring we maintain and uphold a credible reputation as a team.
You will also be involved in the delivery of short term and longer term strategic projects, and must have the ability to adapt your style and prioritise your workload to best manage the needs of the stakeholder and ensure we adhere to statutory/regulatory requirements. Working to changing requirements is an important skill to have within the team due to the ever-evolving nature of internal and external factors.
What you’ll be doing
As a People Reporting Analyst you will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the business, ensuring their reporting needs and requirements are met, to ultimately support functional and business performance.
This role will be responsible for delivering regular, statutory and ad-hoc reporting, as well as participating in projects that require end to end reporting. As well as this, this role will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to scope requirements, to refine reporting and ensure the finalised report is fit for purpose.
In addition the role will support in expanding our reporting offering to the People function, through: developing a standard suite of dashboards; identifying opportunities for automated reports; and focusing on continuous improvement, consistently reviewing our service offering to current stakeholders and those who may require support in the future.
As an operationally focused business, this role can be very reactive and requires the ability to be adaptable, flexible and be able to prioritise competing stakeholder demands. The role is also critical in supporting easyJet’s ambition to become the world’s most data driven airline.
• Own and deliver all people reporting including ad-hoc, regulatory, and scheduled reports in accordance with internal SLAs.
• Manage the team mailbox, ensuring all requests have an owner and stakeholders have been communicated with regarding timeframes.
• Deliver reporting requests, seeking clarity from stakeholders when required and refine reporting based on feedback.
• Organise your delivery against the reporting calendar, ensuring all monthly, quarterly and annual returns are completed in line with deadlines.
• With direction from the People Reporting Manager, lead end to end reporting requirements for key projects and initiatives across the business to support strategical delivery. Tasks will include: scoping requirements, establishing timescales and key milestones and ensuring all governance documentation is updated following the project.
• Advocate for driving self-service and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes.
• Produce and update reporting governance documentation for any new requirements.
• Develop a deeper understanding of the data within our reporting suite to develop greater knowledge as a subject matter expert to best support the delivery for our stakeholders.
• Use expertise to best inform stakeholders on what existing reports can meet their needs and requirements and what can be introduced, as well as managing expectations on what cannot be achieved in our reporting infrastructure.
What you’ll bring to the team
• Demonstrable experience of working with large, complex data sets, and the ability to extract, transform and disseminate data in the required output.
• Proficient user of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience of using Tableau or similar data visualisation tool.
• Experience of using HRIS systems for data extraction.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy of delivery before sharing with business stakeholder.
• Identifies data issues and proactively problem solves to develop solutions resulting in improving reporting accuracy.
• Understanding of data governance, documentation and GDPR guidelines.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear and digestible reports.
• Having familiarity with managing and analysing People data, or knowledge of HR services and related information is desirable.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Location & Hours of Works
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office.
