Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, managing, and optimizing Oracle database applications. This is a full-time onsite role that requires excellent technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Analyze and optimize complex queries for performance improvement.
• Perform data modeling, database schema design, and normalization.
• Collaborate with application developers and business analysts to integrate database solutions with applications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for database development.
• Troubleshoot database issues, including performance tuning and debugging.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for database processes and systems.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational policies.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and data integration efforts.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in developing complex stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Proficiency in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design principles.
• Experience with Oracle tools such as SQL
• Plus, TOAD, or SQL Developer.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Oracle APEX development.
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration tasks.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data migration strategies.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
