The Master Data Specialist plays a key role in ensuring all product related data is accurate and applied on time to core systems, allowing development, ordering, production, shipping, sales and invoicing processes to be carried out.

You’ll be all about data. A system ‘whizz’ with an eye for detail and a knock for clever communication (keeping our teams up to date in the right way), efficiency and planning. You’ll have an interest in both numbers and product and will ideally have a background in a similar data-driven role within a retail or wholesale environment.

We are looking for an experienced Master Data SME who can quickly understand and adopt the current Master Data processes and help to transform them into a standardized, effective, and future-proof version of them into our new ERP system. Using your excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will also be engaging with various stakeholders to fully understand any possible issues, pinch pain points and document them.

The Responsibilities:

Maintaining the areas under your responsibility in the seasonal Go-to-Market activity calendar, highlighting key deadlines and ownership to successfully launch each season from sales and operational perspective.

Timely set up of all products on Microsoft Navision system (NAV) and FF365 in conjunction with Product Merch, Photography, Copy & Product Line Management (PLM) teams. Ensuring data accuracy is maintained throughout the season in the context of pricing, product changes, factory changes etc.Liaise with Creative and Product teams to ensure timely delivery and accurate maintenance of product shots and copy for NAV & FF365, ensuring and changes to specs (eg bulk vs sample) are communicated in conjunction with PLM.POP/POS item set up on all NAV environments via Item Set Up forms received from marketing departments in the UK and US.Maintain all product related system information including pricing data, tariff heading, UPC, packaging format, etc. accurately on all NAV environmentsWorking closely with NAV support to resolve areas of improvement in our ERP system to make item set up and data maintenance more accurate and practical.Managing Smartsheet connections for new seasons.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that stakeholders’ needs are met, and issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner.Monitor and control data quality, provide constructive feedback and training to the stakeholders to improve initial data entries.Execute the data strategy and support adoption and usage of the new platforms.Propose master data process optimization solutions, create a continuous improvement culture.Facilitate and participate in improvement projects including but not limited to new ERP system and Snowflake workshops.Create, identify, and implement Good Practice of the new system and processes.Support creating data standards and data policies.Working closely with our chosen ERP solution provider, cooperating with these 3rd party partners.

The Person:

Previous experience using ERP system in a fast-paced retail (preferably fashion) environment is essential.

Solid understanding and relevant experience in master data management, supply chain and finance.Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset.Experience in Microsoft Navision, Tableau, Snowflake, Smartsheet and Shopify is an advantage.Self-motivated, being able to work independently and proactively.Ability to build long-lasting relationships at all levels, strong communication skills to align diverse stakeholders across end-to-end processes.An organizer, a meticulous planner with an excellent eye for detail.Good process improvement and problem-solving techniques.Strong interpersonal & analytical skills.Ability to work well under high pressure.
