Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join our team at Ampstek. This role focuses on driving automation in the software development lifecycle, reducing friction, and improving delivery efficiency. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our technical solutions meet high standards of quality, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead engineering teams to deliver secure and scalable software. Provide mentorship and drive automation in governance, code processes, and testing. Work with tools like Ansible for automation.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with teams across the organization to align technical decisions with business goals. Develop strategies to streamline processes and reduce delivery times.

• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure our technical solutions meet business needs. Advocate for automation and guide strategic decisions.

• Risk and Compliance: Ensure all software complies with regulatory requirements and internal security standards.

• Team Development: Build a culture of learning and innovation. Mentor and develop team members to ensure they have the skills needed for automation and innovation.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong Python development skills.

• Experience in automation, DevOps, and software lifecycle management.

• Leadership experience, managing teams and driving technical strategies.

• Knowledge of risk management and compliance in a software environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in financial services automation.

• Familiarity with Ansible and infrastructure automation.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
