Role Description
Are you a Data Analyst aligned to a Finance function and keen to embark on a new challenge? Perhaps you're already working in Insurance data analysis and looking to join a company that truly champions innovation?
As a result of strong organic growth, the company is seeking to appoint a Technical IBA Analyst on an 18 month fixed term contract, to join their rapidly growing finance team.
Our IBA function hosts three super collaborative sub-teams, & you will have a chance to affect and improve the processes as the business continues to grow.
About the role
This role will involve reporting on IBA KPI’s relevant to the function including aged debt, unallocated cash and trend analysis. You will also take business requirements from various team members and develop relevant MI solutions, enabling stakeholders across the function to make data informed decisions. You will be working with numerous different data sets from our system, Brokasure.
As part of your role, you will also:
· Report on and provide analysis of realised and unrealised income
· Reporting on aged debt at both team and ledger keeper level
· Developing and implementing MI solutions using Excel and other business intelligence tool(s)
· Using Excel to create ad hoc reports where necessary & automating key excel reports
· Troubleshooting and resolving data & MI Solution issues
· Training end users on various MI Solutions
· Supporting the team on reporting activities, particularly in creating automated reports and improving efficiencies
About you
So what are we looking for from you?
This is an experienced hire so we'd love to hear about your previous experience reporting and creating dashboards for a Finance team. We'd definitely expect you to be able to talk at length about your Excel skills and how you leverage those for the purpose of extracting data and creating reports, data manipulation using VLOOKUPS & Pivot tables.
Naturally, any Insurance experience is desirable but absolutely not a prerequisite!
