Financial Data Analyst
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Data Analyst in Sarasota, FL. Duties Include:
• Financial Data Analyst will perform data analytics and update financial reports on a regular basis
• Pull data for spread analysis and update Excel reports and charts, including waterfall, bar, and line charts
• Collaborate with team members to support forecasting and variance analysis processes
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas) for reporting and data analysis
• Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for process improvements
• As a Financial Data Analyst, you will actively engage in process improvement initiatives to streamline data handling and reporting procedures
• Utilize JD Edwards ERP system for data entry, reporting, and analysis
• Communicate effectively and ask questions to clarify any uncertainties or discrepancies in the data
Requirements
• Proven experience as a financial analyst, preferably with a background in manufacturing
• Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to recognize when something does not look right and investigate further
• Self-motivated, with a "go-getter" attitude towards process improvement and optimization
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly JD Edwards, is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
