Financial Data Analyst

Salary: $50.00 to $60.00 hourly

Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Data Analyst in the construction industry, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The successful candidate will be tasked with the essential function of supporting the finance department with system-related issues, business case documentation, and IT prioritization, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities
• Efficiently troubleshooting system issues within the finance department
• Documenting business cases meticulously and comprehensively
• Prioritizing IT-related issues effectively
• Gaining a thorough understanding of business requirements and ensuring their successful implementation
• Utilizing SQL and data skills to optimize business operations
• Employing effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at various levels
• Delivering high-quality customer service consistently
• Demonstrating critical thinking skills in problem-solving and decision-making processes
• Learning and adapting to new systems rapidly
• Managing cross-functional projects using Oracle Fusion and applying data mining techniques
• Performing accounting functions diligently and maintaining organizational efficiency.

Requirements
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Data Analyst role or similar.
• Proven knowledge and experience in using Data Mining Techniques.
• Capable of performing various Accounting Functions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability in Cross Functional Project Management.
• Background in the construction or contractor industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
