DevOps Engineer – MongoDB and Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer – MongoDB and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing and optimizing MongoDB databases, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tools.
This role focuses on ensuring a reliable, scalable, and secure on-premises environment with advanced backup strategies. While cloud knowledge is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
• Programming & Scripting: Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, and workflows using Python.
• Build high-performance, multi-threaded scripts with Go.
• Automate system-level tasks using Bash/PowerShell.
• Integrate and patch APIs with Java.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Automate provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration for robust systems.
• Database & Backup Management: Manage and optimize MongoDB, focusing on archival strategies and backup mechanisms.(Preferred) Automate backup processes using tools like Cohesity.
• Cloud Platforms & Networking:Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Automate and manage scalable network and storage solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Implement encryption standards (e.g., KMIP) to ensure system security.
• Design compliant solutions for global regions, including EMEA/APAC.
• Testing & Monitoring: Monitor and enhance system performance using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or Locust.
• Implement and manage logging solutions with the ELK Stack for system observability.
Must-Have Skills
• Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, and Bash/PowerShell.
• IaC Tools: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Database Management: Advanced expertise in MongoDB.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Backup Systems: (Preferred) Experience with backup automation tools like Cohesity.
• Security: Strong knowledge of encryption standards and compliance protocols.
• Monitoring: Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack.
Preferred Skills
• Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end/back-end integration.
• Advanced knowledge of global compliance and security protocols.
• Expertise in load testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
