Job: Senior Elastic Stack Engineer

Location: Fort Mill SC (hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

We are seeking an experienced Senior Elastic Stack Engineer to join the technology team, you will have the opportunity to work with various products such as Elasticstack, Dyantrace, Kafka, etc.

Design, implement and deploy strategies to improve efficient processing of data, support back-end services, and implement testing of deployment modules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience with Linux.
• Must have a minimum of 4 years of development, integration, and support of Elasticsearch/ELK/Elastic Stack experience.
• 3+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Ruby.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Experience in design, build, deploy, maintain and enhance Elastic Stack platform in on-perm and cloud environments.
• Experience in Elasticsearch Painless Scripting Language and Elasticsearch Query Language Experience in developing Logstash Pipelines (including Ruby, GROK, Regex, and so on).
• Experience in developing Kibana Visualizations and dashboards.
• Support installation, configuration, deployment, and administration of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash middleware products.
• Automation of administration management tasks of Elastic Stack.
• Work with various teams like Software Development, Infrastructure, Information Security, and Solution Architecture to provide the best ELK can offer.
• Experience with a linear view model of analyzing the data of Datastreams and indices from various input ingestions sources and find the bottlenecks and help in root cause analysis.
• Provide application ELK Enterprise architecture, implementation, setup, administration, and daily Production Support; engineer solutions to automate, streamline monitoring, alerting, and improve resiliency.
• Drive from the beginning to the completion of the projects with respective teams to onboard their data, set up the teams, dashboards, etc.
• Document the architecture, setup steps, and monitoring/support. Cross-train team members to augment the depth of support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work under pressure; strong organizational skills; good judgment and decision making.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with Kafka.
• Experience with DevOps including Terraform.
• Experience with Shell.
