Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Warehouse Analyst to manage and enhance our data warehousing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL, GQL, SAS, and Business Objects to support data analysis, reporting, and decision-making processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and strategic alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
• Utilize GQL (Graph Query Language) to design and implement data models and relationships in graph databases.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling using SAS to provide actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Business Objects and other reporting tools.
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, identify data needs, and provide technical solutions.
• Monitor and enhance data quality, consistency, and integrity across the warehouse.
• Optimize the performance of data warehouse processes and queries for efficiency.
• Document data models, ETL processes, and business logic to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for data-related issues and requests from internal teams.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience
• Proven experience in SQL query development and optimization.
• Proficiency in GQL for graph database management and querying.
• Hands-on experience with SAS for data analysis and statistical modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of Business Objects for report creation and visualization.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes in data warehousing environments.
• Familiarity with database design principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Education and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
• Certifications in SAS, Business Objects, or relevant database technologies are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data processing and analysis.

Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning.
