Our client, a leader in data engineering, is seeking a Data Modeler-Sr to join their team. As a Data Modeler-Sr, you will be part of the data engineering department supporting analytics and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Modeler-Sr

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite) (Candidates must be local to Columbus)

Pay Range: $80-90 per hour

What's the Job?
• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality data models using methodologies such as Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault 2.0.
• Design and optimize data models following the Medallion Architecture on Databricks for Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into robust data models.
• Continuously optimize models and workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and data scientists to integrate models into the broader data platform.

What's Needed?
• Minimum of 10+ years in data modeling or data architecture roles.
• 2+ years of experience with Data Vault 2.0.
• Proven experience with Databricks, particularly in building and managing Delta Live Tables (DLT).
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and/or PySpark for data manipulation and modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
