Data Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data architecture to support business objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of data management principles, database design, and ETL processes. The Enterprise Data Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data solutions are aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data architectures that support enterprise-level applications and analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data solutions.
Implement best practices for database design, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Develop and maintain data warehouses to facilitate efficient reporting and analysis.
Utilize SQL for querying databases and managing data effectively.
Leverage cloud technologies such as Azure for data storage and processing solutions.
Create documentation for data architecture, including diagrams, models, and standards.
Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of data across the organization.
Stay updated on emerging trends in data architecture and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency in SQL for database management and querying.
Experience with Azure cloud services related to data storage and processing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java for developing data solutions.
Solid understanding of database design principles and best practices.
Experience with ETL tools and processes for efficient data integration.
Familiarity with Data Warehousing concepts and implementation strategies.
Knowledge of Linked Data principles and how they can be applied within enterprise systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems related to data architecture.
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
