Job Summary

The Data Analytics Engineer is an energetic team player, passionate about analytics and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual, possessing good analytical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. Analyst will work closely with users in multiple business functions to transform business requirements into analytical solutions using a broad range of technologies that span across the analytics platform. Additionally, the Analyst will help support and advance strategic initiatives in the Analytics Center of Enablement.

Essential Duties
• Provide analytical solutions through enterprise analytic platforms and meetings with the business to understand their analytics needs. This includes researching, designing, documenting, developing and modifying solutions throughout the production life cycle
• Analyze data in Google Big Query through SQL, and provide recommendations on data products needed for Tableau.
• Be accountable for the performance and results of the team within the deliverables assigned.
• Maintain and enhance existing analytical solutions by making appropriate changes and validations to ensure that the desired results are produced
• Assist with Tableau Server/Cloud administration, including monitoring environments, diagnosing problems, and repairing issues on time.
• Design and implement Tableau Cloud data and workbook security model.
• Curate and publish standardized data sources for Creators to access via Tableau Cloud.
• Partner with the infrastructure team to troubleshoot and resolve network/server-related
• Serve as backup Server Administrator to install and deploy new versions of Tableau software across all lifecycle environments.
• Create/Modify/Manage Tableau Server Task Schedules.
• Monitor Tableau Server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements. Proficiency with managing complex data from multiple data sources and demonstrate ability to understand new datasets and data structures.

Qualifications Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience Required
• Up to 5 years of IT and business/industry experience in data analytics platform Tableau 2-3 years of experience is a must, design, and implementation, including working with end-users to effectively assess business requirements and define analytical needs to support data-driven decision-making
