Data Analyst I

JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

Job Summary - Essential Functions/Duties

Under direction of senior Analyst or Supervisor, a Data Analyst I performs a variety of tasks associated with day-to-day post-test processing operations in support of flight testing. The Data Analyst will be managing/coordinating data requests, automating & optimizing the data ingestion processes, ensuring data/media control, and work closely with Discipline Engineers to ensure mission support needs are met.

Employee will be responsible for performing the following functions/duties:
• Performs essential data handling of test data, data products, and validation of pre-flight data, and ingest data using scripted actions from a variety of sources.
• Ensures all data products are logged into and out of the data management system and provide periodic inventories of all stored media.
• Work with programmers, data production analysts, and discipline engineers to ensure the timely success of data operations.
• Participate in process and tool automation and optimization of data ingestion.
• Assisted with the development of processing specifications, procedures, and will provide requested reports/metrics as required.
• Understanding and adhering to all local security requirements regarding handling, transferring, shipping, and disposing of data and media products.
• Perform other job-related duties, as required.
• Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security + Certification within 6 months of hire.

Requirements - Education, Technical, And Work Experience

Associate's degree or equivalent vocational/academic training in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics, or 3 years' experience in a related field. Demonstrated skill in analyzing problems which include identifying relevant factors, gathering pertinent information, and recognizing solutions. Possess skills in performing fundamental, accurate work which requires planning and logical steps. Capable of communicating, both verbally and in writing. The incumbent must possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. Must qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.

SALARY

The expected salary range for this position is $73,632 to $85,176 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.
