Role Purpose:
Allwyn is deploying new assets to over 41,000 retail sites across the UK, NI and IOM. In order to do this in an efficient and effective way, the deployment team require a data analyst to:
• Track and report performance on the four deployment projects in retail (PPOS, Network, Terminals and software) vs objectives, producing regular data to support weekly, monthly and quarterly report cycles
• Through data analysis, support the planning and delivery of key initiatives to continually improve retail deployment, in line with annual planning
• Work with data supplied by our key external partners to ensure quality and compliance is maintain to operating reporting functions.
• Execute deep dive analysis to produce insights that identify root cause issues and potential solutions
• Preparing data, BI, reports and dashboards to support and guide decision making with scheduled and ad-hoc reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Developing solutions to improve the delivery and consistency of data and BI
• Reviewing and auditing data to ensure it is correct; raising issues and areas for action where needs be
• Combining vendor data with Allwyn retail data for reporting
• Completing ad-hoc requests for data from across the business
• Assisting in data cleanup and migration activities
• Developing tools and processes to monitor data quality and integrity
• Able to manipulate data sets via Excel, BI and Salesforce (Optional)
• Provide data issue resolution when requested by the team and internal stakeholders
• Support the building of decks and documents to cascade information to the deployment team
• Support with the development of new reports and dashboards, within new reporting software, to give deeper data and insight to the wider the team
• Champion new reporting tools and benefits amongst the wider team
• Work closely with Data and Insight Managers in Finance and the Commercial Trading team to ensure best in class, data, methodologies, and processes are in place across functions
Requirements
· Must have previous data analysis experience, preferably from Retail but not essential
· Advanced experience of Microsoft Office suite necessary
· Experience working with Power BI data analytics platform preferable
· Strong numerical skills and experienced in understanding large data sets, able to handle this either through Excel or Power BI
· Ability to plan and prioritise multiple activities
· Is aware of the commercial impact of own decisions/actions
· Good problem-solving skills with experience of resolving complex data issues
· Previous experience of stakeholder liaison
· Naturally curious, with the ability to decipher and effectively scrutinise data to identify anomalies or patterns
· Collaborative, with experience of working across different teams and other data analysts, often at the same time, and can take charge in getting to clear solutions that can be presented back to the business
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
