Data Analyst
Remote with ability to travel to Baton Rouge Occasionally M ust have current experience working with the State's Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program within the last six (6) months as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs Master Degree in Health Information Technology Experience in data analysis using SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL queries Proficiency with SAS and R programming for analyzing data sets for trends, patterns and anomalies Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs Ability to create complex SQL queries Ability to develop interactive dashboards or visualizations Experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau Experience with GIT, GitHub and JIRA Must be able to follow Agile development methodologies Provide effective communications and work well with multiple teams and users at various technical levels (novice to advanced). Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory: Ability to understand complex business problems Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues Understanding of quality control process to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations Understanding of database platforms and database design
