Data analyst sought for our client, a leading global investment bank who needs a contractor to join their team for an initial 12 month contract (with the option of renewal). Essential skills for the role:-

Must haves:

  1. 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in an enterprise organization.

  2. Extensive experience creating reports for C-Level executives and stakeholders.

  3. Highly proficient in Excel (incl. advanced formulas macros) and PowerPoint

  4. Thorough experience with data manipulation, interpretation, analyzing trends/themes and providing possible resolutions.

  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  6. Able to work in high pressure tight deliverable situations to perform statistical analysis for use by senior leadership and audit teams

Plusses:

  1. Experience in financial services in a technology focused role

  2. Strong understanding of technology Incident, problem or change management.

  3. Experience with ServiceNow as an technology Incident and problem management tool.

  4. Experience with SQL – ability to create, interpret and revise queries.

  5. Experience building reporting dashboards in tools such as Tableau or QlikView.

  6. Experience working with LLM for data analysis. Data science/ modeling knowledge also a plus

  7. Work with developers to build and automate dashboards to meet senior leadership needs (like transform the data into dashboards so we don’t have to do it manually)

  8. Bachelors degree in a relevant field.

You’ll be part of an Enterprise Technology Operations Client response services hub within the organisation and be a part of a global team focused on Incident and change management. The chosen candidate will be involved in generating monthly incident and change management reports for the firm and evolving them to become more automated. These reports will showcase the trends and themes related to incident and change that occur globally across the firm, as well as, time to detect, time to mitigate, threshold and findings/justification for these incidents etc. Additionally, the chosen candidate will also be involved in creating a monthly threshold pack for C-suite executive review. As such, this role requires the candidate to have in-depth analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
