What are we looking for in our Business Intelligence (Advanced Analytics Developer)?

Position: BI Analyst

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Location: Remote

Pay Range: $40-$45/hr on W2 (As per experience)

Responsibilities
• Works closely with businesses to understand the requirements in the context of BI and create strong semantic models, visualizations forreporting.
• Experience in handling large volumes of data within Power BI though various storage modes.
• Create, test, and deploy power BI scripts, as well as execute efficient deep analysis.
• Excellent knowledge on the best practices for optimized power BI reports
• Understand upstream systems, their dependencies and provide database design guidance based on a though understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs.
• Well versed with Power BI application security models.
• Be able to use Performance analyzer and Power BI to run DAX queries and functions.
• Proficient in doing advanced- level of computations.
• Advanced SQL skills to validate the data against the source.
• Build efficient reports and visualizations for different domains and publish them for larger audiences.
• Be able to demonstrate various workarounds on tool limitations.
• Build paginated reports using RDL/Power BI service.
• Capable of enabling Row-Level-Security
• Strong understanding of DAX Expressions
• Good understanding of Power BI features and functionalities.
