SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a long term contract with the possibility to be converted to a direct hire. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals, and supporting Agile teams throughout the product development lifecycle. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and other team members to translate business needs into actionable features, epics, and user stories.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and review sessions to understand the business needs and objectives.
• Break down business requirements into well-defined user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize the backlog based on business value, and work closely with the product owner to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the team has a clear understanding of the requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and improve business analysis processes and Agile practices. Work with teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, collaboration, and value delivery.
• Assist in validating that the product meets business requirements by reviewing deliverables and performing user acceptance testing (UAT) where needed. Ensure that solutions align with user needs and deliver business value.
• Analyze data and metrics to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making. Communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as the point of contact for business analysis activities. Communicate progress, risks, and issues effectively.
• Support the team in understanding the impact of changes, helping stakeholders adjust to new processes or features.

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment. Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications like Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.), Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), and data analysis tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex business needs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
