Business Analyst

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position requires a strong understanding of business analysis, analytics, and various data management tools.
Duties

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new projects and initiatives.
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform strategic decisions.
Utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data from databases for reporting and analysis purposes.
Create visual representations of data using Tableau to facilitate understanding among stakeholders.
Develop process maps and workflows using Visio to document current processes and recommend improvements.
Participate in Agile project management methodologies to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Support ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis.
Analyze linked data sources to provide comprehensive insights that drive business performance.
Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and actionable manner.

Requirements

Proven experience in business analysis or a related field with a strong focus on data analysis skills.
Proficiency in SQL for database querying and manipulation.
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Tableau for data visualization.
Experience with Visio for process mapping and documentation.
Knowledge of ETL processes and best practices.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred but not required.
