We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Books and Records Transformation Analyst for one of our clients to lead the transition of financial processes and records to a new statewide accounting platform. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of financial operations, and experience in process mapping and optimization. This role is critical in ensuring the successful migration and alignment of financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed current and future state process maps of financial operations, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of Budget processes.
Lead the identification, documentation, and optimization of financial processes.
Conduct comprehensive analysis and reconciliation of the Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure alignment with new systems.
Support the migration of financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Develop and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial operations.
Design and develop the financial process utilizing databases, excel, SQL,
Create and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Advanced Excel and Access skills.
Proven experience in process mapping and improvement.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Oracle or transformation implementations.
Power Query, PowerPivot knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with process modeling software such as IBM Blueworks or Visio.

Work Location:Ocoee, FL. Onsite, no remote option is available. Local candidates are highly preferred.
Background Check:A Level 1 background check will be required prior to the start date.
