Job title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Client: Banking Client

Determination: Outside of IR35

Salary: Up to £550 P/D

Location: London (90% remote)

Duration: Initial 3 months with a likely extension for further 3 months

An government affiliated banking firm is looking for a highly talented Azure DevOps Engineer to join an Dynamics 365 project on a contract basis.

Responsibilities / Tasks:

• Setting GIT branches and necessary gatekeeping / approval as agreed in the branching and versioning strategy.

• Building out Azure DevOps pipelines to package and deploy Dynamics 365 solutions from development environments to other environments.

• Pipeline should deploy managed or unmanaged version of the solution based on environment strategy.

• Pipeline should be able to deploy from different GIT branches and specific build version.

• Pipeline should be able to invoke automation testing pack on deployment to certain environments.

• Pipeline should update status of Backlog Items in Azure DevOps on deployment to Test environment.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and Dynamics 365 solutions & versioning.

• Strong understanding of GIT branching.

• Solid understanding of Python or PowerShell or pipeline scripts.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Experience of Playwright automation testing will be an advantage.
