As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support our services. Your focus will be on best practices surrounding AWS solutions, security, performance, and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure as code

• Basic VPC skills

• NACL

• Security Groups

• Route tables

• Subnets

• IP reservations in subnets (taking a range of IPs out of the dynamic DHCP pool)

• Route 53, Route 53 in-bound/out-bound resolver

• DHCP option set in VPC

Requirements

Qualifications:

Appropriate industry experience of working in a Support environmentApplicants must be high motivated, proactive and want to work to help shape the support we deliverHighly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and be able to demonstrate a passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customersPossess a strong work ethic and team player mentality with strong decision making and analytical abilitiesMinimum Qualification:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect

• Desirable:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking Specialty

Desirable Requirements:

• Transit Gateway, especially TGW routing tables

• S3 buckets deployment and security

• Migration tools

• Cloudwatch/Eventbus events

• Cloudwatch & SSM

• Good understanding of AWS SNS for alerting/notifications

• Setting up cross-account resources/access, including IAM

• End-point services

• Security products

• Guard Duty

• Inspector

• Config

• Trusted Adviser

• IAM

• Tagging - enforce at the IAC level and should include

• Cost analysis

• EC2, RDS monitoring and Cloudwatch

• A working understanding of BGP

• Programming skills: Python3, Bash

• Git and repositories

• Architecture and design skills

• Interfacing/report APIs to any of your reporting tools

• Deployment CI/CD

• Terrafrom/Cloudformation

• Github/gerrit

• Jenkins

• Puppet/chef/ansible
