The Asset Data Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the mobilisation of a large Government contract, reporting directly to the UKI Asset Data Manager within the central Operations Performance Technical Team. This role focuses on overseeing and managing asset master data processes, ensuring all data aligns with agreed standards to ensure a seamless and successful mobilisation.
Job Description
You will be tasked with maintaining the quality and accuracy of asset and contract data, generating locational master data for property locations within CAFM systems, and mapping this data to assets. This position demands advanced expertise in Excel, making it essential that the candidate is proficient in managing and organising large datasets. While experience with CAFM systems is desirable, comprehensive training on new Excel-based software will be provided. The job involves processing and validating data sent by on-site teams who are collecting information for over 500,000 assets, ensuring all details are accurate and recorded correctly. The role will be largely remote, though occasional visits to ISS offices may be required. With the scale of the task and the ongoing introduction of new tools to streamline processes, this position presents a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on a high-profile project.
Key Responsibilities
Support all Asset Data Management activities as agreed by the Product Manager within the Operations Performance – Technical team
Ensure accurate capture and correct setup of core asset and contract data in the CAFM system for Assets and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
Develop and manage a schedule of maintenance activities for physical assets, focusing on operational performance and profitability
Ensure all data complies with legal and statutory regulations and building engineering standards, adhering to data entry procedures
Manage data exports and imports for Asset data, Maintenance Job Plans, Planned Maintenance Schedules, SFG20 and Non-SFG Procedures, Procedure Step Task Instructions, and planned and remedial work tasks
Collaborate with the FMS team to generate locational master data for Properties, Buildings, Floors, and Spaces, ensuring accurate mapping to Assets, Building Systems, and Job Plans, while maintaining ISS coding and naming conventions
Manage Asset and Maintenance Master Blueprint Templates, ensuring strict change control and version control processes for all updates, improvements, and customisations
Load data changes into Asset Management system instances and maintain API integration mappings to CAFM systems
Prepare and QA Asset Collection and Verification Templates and PPM Planners for data quality and completeness
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, including advanced functions and formulas, Power BI, Power Query, statistical data analysis, pivot tables, VBA and macro coding, complex data manipulation, creation of dynamic dashboards, and automation of processes to support data-driven decision-making
Experience with CAFM systems desirable
Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage remote workflows
Proficiency in managing APIs, integrations, and system improvements
Self-driven with a collaborative mindset to work within a high-performing team
