Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Data Analyst II Position type: Fulltime/Contract Location : Plainsboro New Jersey Duration : 12+ Months (Temp to Perm) Hybrid Role (3 days per week in-office) As a Data Analyst II you will: Top Three Must-Haves: • Tableau and SQL: Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and SQL for database management and complex queries. • Curiosity and Drive: A strong desire to find creative solutions and continuously improve processes. • Independent Work: Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality production standards. Key Responsibilities: • Overall Support: Provide comprehensive support to the Client Data Strategy Office, including documentation, quality control, analytical support, and development. • Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality control standards within the CLIENT Data Office. • Functional Requirements: Assess, prioritize, and document functional requirements. • Ad-Hoc Analyses: Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions. Main Job Tasks: • Data Governance & Enablement: Drive data governance and enablement initiatives. • Perform quality control to support analytics and reporting. • Develop an understanding of key business questions for each project. • Leverage analytical skills to collect, clean, integrate, and analyze data, including sales, marketing, and cost data. • Maintain project documentation and adhere to governance policies and procedures. • Support the creation of new data governance policies. • Develop and present recommendations to key stakeholders. • Serve as a trusted advisor for analysis methodology. • Develop custom analyses using Tableau, Advanced Excel, SAS, PowerPoint, Access, and SQL. • Build a center of excellence for creating analytically ready data sets for the analytics community. • Perform detailed data quality checks to ensure analytical readiness. • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements. • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery. • Acquire data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases. • Provide guidance and support on data sets and identify areas for process improvements to standardize data governance. • Ad-Hoc Analyses: Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making. • Understand persistency and adherence metrics and analytics on de-identified patient-level data. • Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality support to stakeholders. • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather feedback and identify development opportunities. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Education: • Bachelor's Degree (preferably within a quantitative or management discipline) preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Experience: • 3-5 years of experience working with data in the commercial domain; experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. • Experience managing stakeholders to drive projects forward. • Strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience in analyzing complex situations, collecting data, and synthesizing insights. • Project management and relationship-building skills to overcome complex business challenges. Technical Skills: • Proficiency in Tableau and Advanced Excel. • Experience with SQL and complex queries. • Working knowledge of SAS is a plus. • Familiarity with Alteryx is a plus. Personal Skills: • Ability to think strategically and beyond the data; data storytelling. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High motivation and proactivity. • Strong written and oral communication skills. • Attention to detail and focus on quality. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across all levels of the business. • High degree of flexibility, as the nature and timing of assignments change according to business requirements.
